Hey! I’m Cari.

I’m the one-woman show behind ApotheCari Officinalis. I have been studying herbalism and holistic living since 2011.

I really began my herbalist journey in 2016 after working as a birth doula. I wanted more information on all of the tinctures I saw the midwives giving laboring moms. I wanted to have more education about herbal options for my clients. Then my body went through an intense health decline and when my doctor couldn’t figure out how to help, I turned to herbs. They have helped me heal and I’ve never looked back.

In 2020 after leaving the birth world, I opened my herb shop specifically around herbs for pregnancy and postpartum and it has grown ever since.
